About Our Goal:

Pint Defiance is a local woman-owned taproom directly impacted by cancer, like many others. Co-owner Carol has been bravely battling stage 4 kidney cancer for well over nine years with the support of the compassionate providers at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. Due to their unwavering commitment to cutting-edge research and innovation, she has defied the odds, surpassing her initial life expectancy of just an 8% chance to live past 5 years after diagnosis. Nearly a decade later, following numerous research studies and drug trials in which Carol has actively participated to aid Fred Hutchinson in understanding this devastating disease, our ultimate goal remains to find a cure. We are asking our local community to come together for our charity event on October 15th to support all impacted by this terrible disease and positively impact our community’s future.
