Brewer's Night with Ballast Point, Thurs. Sept. 22nd, 5-7p

Every home brewer at one time or another has had the dream that they would one day open their own brewery, and the reason they know it can be done is because of Ballast Point. Founded out of the back of a homebrew shop, Ballast Point has grown to be nationally recognized as a medal-winning brewery. Even with rapid growth, they haven’t shifted their focus from creating unique, solid, consistent brews.

Join us Thursday, Sept. 22nd, from 5pm to 7pm, as we host Ballast Point in the latest in our unlimited series of Brewer's Nights. The brewery team will be in attendance including VP and Specialty Brewer, Colby Chandler. Come hang out and rub elbows with real life beer celebrities and enjoy some great beer. On draft, we will have Raspberry Sour Wench, Vanilla Orange Fathom India Pale Lager, Dead Ringer Oktoberfest, and a very special keg of Rum Barrel-Aged Victory at Sea Imperial Porter. You will not want to miss this event!

Pint Defiance 4th Anniversary Party, Saturday Sept. 17th

It seems like just yesterday we opened our doors to the thirsty masses. These four years have blown by, and in that time we’ve poured countless pints, made thousands of new friends, and amassed a metric ton of stories. And all of this because of our shared love of craft beer.
Saturday, Sept. 17th, we are throwing a party. Yes, ostensibly it is for the occasion of our 4th anniversary, but really this party is for you. All of you who have supported us, shared laughs, endured our hugs and dumb jokes. And we have some awesome stuff in store—including the release of our 4th Anniversary IPA, Mildred, brewed at Georgetown Brewing Company. We will also be tapping other special brews for the occasion, like the return of Pint Defiance’s 3rd Anniversary IPA, Airways Strip Mall Riot, Fremont Rusty Nail, Cantillon Gueuze, and special releases from Holy Mountain, Cloudburst, Schilling Cider, and many more! We are also releasing exclusive Pint Defiance commemorative stemware, a giant birthday cake (@3pm), and plenty of other surprises. You won't want to miss it. Cheers!

Brewer’s Night with Ex Novo, Wed. Aug. 31st, 5-7pm

When Ex Novo founder, Joel Gregory, sat down to plan his brewery, he knew he wanted it to make a positive impact on his Portland, OR community. The best way he know how was to make the business non-profit from the start and split what it earns between four causes: Fr1ends of the Ch1ldren, International Justice Mission, Impact NW, and Mercy Corps. And in 2014, Ex Novo (“from nothing”) became the first Not-for-Profit brewery in the country.

Come in and help support the cause with a pint, Wednesday, August 31st, from 5 to 7pm. We will have some awesome one-off brews, raffle off some rad brewery schwag and you’ll get the opportunity to meet brewery founder Joel Gregory. On tap we will have some seasonally appropriate, refreshingly different brews from Ex Novo, including Cactus Wins the Lottery Prickly Pear Berliner Weisse, Dot the O Kölsch, V for Vienna Lager, Fresh Hop Session IPA, and the flagship Eliot IPA. Don’t miss this event!
